Tickets are now on sale for the Good Friday Meeting, one of the most iconic track cycling competitions in the calendar. Holders of the first 250 tickets will be given exclusive access to meet the stars of the track competing at Lee Valley VeloPark on Friday 3rd April 2015.

With a history going back over 100 years, the Good Friday Meeting has seen the likes of Team GB’s Sir Bradley Wiggins, Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Becky James, Jody Cundy, Andy Tennant and Ed Clancy compete atthe unique open track cycling event.

The VIP Meet & Greet Zone will be in the track centre of the Olympic venue and, for no additional cost, the first 250 ticket holders will have access to some of the heroes of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Ed Clancy, two-time Olympic Gold medallist and ambassador for The Good Friday Meeting, said: “I always enjoy competing at the Good Friday Meeting, it’s a competitive event, which attracts some of the world’s best riders but it has a unique atmosphere; it’s very relaxed and family-friendly. It’s a great chance to see some top action on the track and, this year, if you get in there quick, you could be in with a chance of meeting me on the day!”

Qualifications and the first rounds of the two sprint competitions begin at 10:00. After a short break the meeting recommences at 13:00, featuring all the races synonymous with the SCCU Good Friday Meeting and is expected to end around 17:30 with the 15k Golden Wheel scratch race as the grand finale.

Tickets start from £11.25 and just one ticket allows access to the whole day’s racing. Events include:

Elite International Sprint & Keirin races
Elite International Golden Wheel endurance races
Elite International Derny Paced race
White Hope rising stars races
Women’s Elite endurance races
