Naomi Hemmant Most Combative rider award
This award recognises the courageous and attacking rider who leaves everything on the road. You might win, you might not win, but you have will have ridden with great style, commitment, and spirit. This is a special award for a special rider in memory of a very special person, Naomi Hemmant, who tragically passed away July 2012 at the age of 32.

Naomi was a rider just like you, a regular of the ladies Team Series, a perfect team mate, and a true fighter on and off the bike. Naomi loved all that cycling as a sport and recreation offered; the excitement, the competition, a way to explore the world, and make friends for life along the way. As you wait on the start line ready to race, take a moment to remember Naomi. Smile as you remember her smile, her beauty and love for all, and then ride like you’ve never ridden before. Good luck and chapeau!
