E/1/2/3 and Youth racing, recreational riding and an evening Cycling Festival in Bishop Auckland next Wednesday.

Velo29-Altura are back with the final event in their 2015 racing calendar. It’s a fast 900m circuit, there are no dead turns, it’s pan flat and there are no cobbles! Last year Harry Tanfield won a tight bunch sprint but equally a break could have stuck, on such a tight circuit you don’t need to be far ahead to be out of sight and gone!

The prize list is a generous £1,500 for the E/1/2/3. There is youth racing from the Stockton Wheelers, entry for both is open online until Sunday night or you can enter on the day. Matti Hemmings BMX Flat Land Champion will be entertaining, there is also a BMX Pump Track for the kids and Roller Racing for the public to challenge each other.
