Chris Lawless won the 10th anniversary MR PORTER London Nocturne, making that two consecutive wins for JLT Condor. Lawless and Team Wiggins rider, Owain Doull, were playing cat and mouse throughout the MR PORTER Elite Criterium, but the Wiggins rider was pipped on the finish straight in front of the electric crowd.

Lawless, who raced aggressively throughout, set the fastest lap of the day on the new 1.5km Nocturne course in the shadow of St Pauls.

London fans were treated to 9 races across the day. The Santander Cycle Hire Race saw competitors running the last 300m of the course after docking the hire bike on the finish straight.
Alec Briggs, an up-and-coming cat 2 rider displayed his power in the Mango Bikes Criterium. Briggs won the overall race and took the 1st lap prime, sponsored by Red Hook Criterium.

Royal Marine, Aled Jones won the PedalSure Folding Bike Race even after a few nasty falls. He was joined by PedalSure ambassador and pro rider, Andy Tennant. A special addition to the race programme involving obstacles like taxis and phone zombies, went down a storm with the crowd. The Concours d’Elegance was successful in its aim of promoting considerate cycling.
