Men’s Major Road Events Confirmed for 2018

With the Tour of the Worlds cancelled, the National Road Series for 2018 will start with the Chorley Grand Prix and is then followed by the East Cleveland Klondike which comes just before the Tour of Yorkshire (UCI event). Then, the final Prem in May is the monument in the series, the Lincoln Grand Prix. The Tour Series, which starts May 8 with two events before the Lincoln GP, then dominates the rest of May before the Bueamont Trophy kicks off the road racing again on June 17.

The week after, the Tour of Reservoir, for men and women, is held on June 23rd and 24. The British Road Race Championships still has no venue as far as VeloUK knows and will be followed by a series of the Elite Circuit Series starting in Otley on July 4, Abergavenny on July 6 and followed on July 8 by a kermesse in Bristol. Crits in Skipton on the 11th and Stockton on the 13th with the Stockton Grand Prix on the 15th follow, almost a full month before the next ‘Prem’, the Leicester Kermesse on August 12th.

Sheffield is back on the 18th of July for a round of the Crit series and then to Barnsley on the 20th and the final one, Colne on July 25.
