1. How did you get into the sport of cycling?
Charmaine: Volunteered within the Army

2. Full time rider, student or working?
Charmaine: Working, British Army

3. Best result for you in 2018?
Charmaine: Third at the round of the Wembley Tour Series

4. Best organised/fun race you did in 2018?
Charmaine: Tour de Yorkshire/Salisbury Tour Series

5. Toughest race of 2018?
Charmaine: Tour of Reservoir

6. Best moment in a race or funniest moment in a race in 2018?
Charmaine: Flagging hard at Tour of Reservoir with Leah Dixon rolling up the rear.

7. Do you train alone or have others to help you get through the ride?
Charmaine: Bit of both, mostly with Chanel Mason (Storey)

8. In the winter, training on the road or indoors?
Charmaine: Bit of both, mostly road.

9. How many hours on the bike can you fit in during an average winter training week?
Charmaine: Just the bike? 10-15

10. Is there any off the bike training (running/swimming/gym etc)?
Charmaine: Gym

11. Do you train with any gadgets (Heart rate/power) or just go on ‘feel’ of the ride?
Charmaine: Heart rate

Charmaine: Eager to race again of course ;-)

13. Are you doing anything different in training this winter than last one?
Charmaine: Trying to keep consistency

14. Which races are you looking forward to most in 2019
Charmaine: All of the Tour Series

15. Favourite pre race meal?
Charmaine: Rice pudding

16. Favourite race drink?
Charmaine: Cup of tea.

17. Best one thing you learned about racing in 2018?
Charmaine: There’s highs and lows and you have got to take them both.

18. Favourite professional to watch on tele (male or female)
Charmaine: I love watching Katie Archibald on the track ;-)
