Joe Riley (Wheelbase Cabtech) still had good legs after a solid 5th place the day before in the Soens, outsprinting Si Wilson (Ribble Weldtite) and a small group that gapped the leaders on the last lap. In the supporting Regional B race George Elliot (Innovation racing), 16th in the Soens, demonstrated his TT pedigree with a 2up 25 mile escape with Peter Linfield (Team Chronomaster).
