Result: Sunderland Clarion CC Hill Climb

Karl Denton continued his impressive start to the climbing season winning the Sunderland Clarion CC Hill Climb at Ladypark.

Denton was last man off on the mile long climb of Ladypark, a difficult climb to pace on a bumpy surface with Denton setting a new course record of 3:46.8. This gave him a comfortable 12 second advantage over Ian Taylor of Adept Precision RT. Tom Timothy of Velo 29 -vranku completed the podium. In the juniors Kyle Watts (Tyneside Vagabonds CC) took some decent senior scalps to be quickest junior in 4’13.6
