After an initial attack from Colin Ash (Blackhawk Bikes), the move of the day formed with Nick Spencer (Gosforth RC), Ian Norris (Blumilk.com), Steve Gibson (Peak RC), Rob Carter (TS Racing Team-Vankru) & former GB Junior Neil Wallbank (Sunderland Clarion CC) in his first year back racing, breaking clear of the main group.

Having missed the move, Martin bridged across solo on the 3rd of 8 laps of the circuit, taking less than half a lap to make it across. With less than 2 laps remaining and the main group starting to pull the lead group back, Martin attacked from the break with only Carter able to go with him, the 2 remained clear until the finish where Martin comfortably out sprinted Carter for the win.

The organiser would like to thank all members of Cestria Cycles RT, Cestria Cycles, friends and family & race officials for helping to run the event & also Red Marine Ltd for sponsoring the prize list.
