Andrew Perkins of Mid Devon CC wins his second race in 24 hours in the Cyclelogic Open 25 mile Time Trial on Sunday 2nd June. Olympic medallist Wendy Houvenaghel third.

An impressive double for Andy Perkins of Mid Devon CC/Colin Lewis Cycles. Perkins was fastest man home in the Plymouth Corinthians 10 on Saturday evening recording 20:25 in blustery conditions to take the win from the promoting club’s Rob Scott with 20:36.

12 hours later Perkins was back in action again, this time in Cornwall for the Cyclelogic 25, run off in warm sunny conditions. Perkins showed that the previous evening’s efforts hadn’t blunted his speed taking the win with a time of 52 minutes dead with Cornwall’s Sandy Gourley, Penzance Wheelers coming home 17 seconds in arrears and national women’s TT champion Wendy Houvenagel taking third in 53.56.
