New Dolan DF4 Frameset Stiffer, Lighter & UCI Approved
The Dolan DF4 track frameset is an evolution of the game changing DF3 which was a winner of over 80 World and European Track Championships, shattering World records in the process. Tested for over ten months and during two international track seasons, the DF4 is 115 grams lighter and 18% stiffer than the DF3 thanks to a unique carbon lay-up manufacturing process.
Widely used in both sprint and endurance events including Six Days, the DF4 has the same geometry as the DF3 with improved performance and handling and now includes an aero seat post. The Dolan DF4 was trialled on the European Winter Six Day Circuit and has already won three European and two World Track Championships.
The pedigree of the DF3 before it was second to none with feedback from the likes of Sir Chris Hoy and Craig MacLean, riders with of Olympic, Commonwealth Games and World Championship medals between them, helping Dolan Bikes create a near perfect track bike which has been improved on again with the DF4.
With the same geometry as the original Sports Institute bikes used by the Great Britain team, the price of the DF4 at £1,249.99 is far below that of its competitors used in international track competitions.
The frame comes in fives sizes, 51, 53, 55, 57 and 59 cms and as standard, is in black but can be customised (* costs extra). The frame also has rear wheel adjusters and stainless steel replaceable dropouts (like the DF3).
Dolan Bikes can build a complete bike based around the DF4 from 1499.99. For further information contact Dolan Bikes here http://www.dolan-bikes.com/
