A fine but windy day at York Sport for the second in the series of 3 races, 2 of the senior races were sold out again, with the womens field growing to over 20 riders. In the youth races the Under 14/16 race was won by Rob Gray, Clifton CC with Tom Pidock of Aire Valley taking second place the pair had broke away from the bunch in tough conditions to gain over half a lap Gray outsprinting Pidock.

The womens handicap saw the scratch group having to make up over half a lap, as riders dropped form the first group the wind taking its toll, the second group work efficiently and made the catch. Lauren OBrien soloed to victory with a strong individual display to take the win.

With over 40 riders lining up, the race stayed together with riders taking shleter in the bunch, several small attacks failed to shape the race in the early stages, as the race progressed the field began to shrink the conditions getting the better of several riders. The sprint was taken by Kristofor Hargreaves of Selby CC, with Mark Tobin of Albarosa Cycling Club taking second.

In the final race of the day, two riders attacked from the gun Alex Dalton, Squadra RT and Matthew Williams Chevin Cycles Trek.com quickly gaining a significant lead, which they held for the duration of the race, Dalton outsprinting Williams to take the win. Minor placing wer settle when a small grounp of riders got away in the closing stages.
