In Raleigh’s long and distinguished history there’s one person that stands above all others. In 1939 Tommy Godwin rode his Raleigh Record Ace into the history books with an unbreakable record; 75,065 miles in one calendar year.
Seventy-five years on Raleigh is commemorating this achievement with a challenge for today’s cyclists – put yourself to the ultimate test and ride Tommy’s average of 205 miles in one day. Riders from Raleigh rode the first Tommy Godwin Challenge in November 2013, take a look at how they got on
