News – Anderside Classic Road Race

Just over a week to go now and the organiser is still accepting entries for the Anderside Classic Road Race on Sunday 8th June. This year the start and finish will be in Strathaven to compliment the towns gala day, so the crowds will be out especially at the finish in John Hastie Park.

The race has been generously supported by Anderside Tools Limited and South Lanarkshire Council.

80 miles and 5000 feet of climbing will challenge the UK’s finest riders but the rewards are high with a £2500 prize pot tempting pros and elites from around the country.
