News – Hove Park Crits Series

The George Samuel Memorial Hove Park Crits Series 2014 has been one of the most exciting in recent memory – top riders from the South East of England doing battle on one of the tightest circuits around and some explosive racing whilst the series contenders try to stay in contention for the series title.

Friday 4th July sees the last race in the series taking place and this will be the deciding race to crown the 2014 series winner. It will take a lot to beat current leader Paul Flynn (Pivot Boompods) but with double points on offer anything can – and will – happen.

Racing starts at 6.45pm with a 4th Cat race followed by the 2/3 Cat race just before 7.45pm.

With a good crowd always in attendance it is a fabulous series of bike racing with lots of action and deserves all the local support it can get. There are numerous prizes on offer for all categories as well as the prestigious George Samuel Memorial Trophy that goes to the winner of the 2/3 race series.

Don’t forget that this year we have online entry for all the races in the 2014 series. Go to the British Cycling Federation website, find the races using the ‘Event Finder’ link and you will be able to enter the races online – simple.

See you on the start line!
