The small group of Senior A riders saw Mike Broadwith use his strength to take the opening 10 lap scratch and Devil but he was out scored in the closing 10 mile by Andy Hastings who opened up a gap in the last lap to take a clear victory
The two 10 lap group AB handicap events produced to vastly different battles – the Group A Odds numbered riders caught the B group with 3 laps to go and John McClelland won the charge for the line from George Farrell at the finish. In the second race the three group B riders worked well together and were never in danger of being caught – Connor Woodford won from Josh Roberts and Simon Best for a well deserved win.
The Under 16 and under 14 block pursuit races both provided close battles over the distance. Ethan Vernon won the youth A event while Reece Pollen (CC Hackney) won the Youth B race and went on to win the Points race and the 6 lap handicap for his best results the season.
The CDE group were lively – Jenna Miles won the opening scratch event while Sam Gilbert and Max Jackson each won a 3 lap handicap race.
