The Scunthorpe Poly Trophy Meet finally got underway after a 2hr delay due to rain. The damp start & windy conditions did not stop Pete Mitchell from setting a fast 200m time of 10.97 just 0.27 off the track record of 10.7 set by Jason Kenny on a lot better day.

Peter dominated all the rounds to beat Team Mate Max Nethell in the final. Alex Minting dominated the distance races winning the Scunthorpe Cycling Trophy 20km BC endurance league event after being fastest in the sprint from a group of eight who lapped the rest of the field.
