March 12/13 sees the Holme Valley Wheelers 2-Day in Yorkshire with events for Men & Women

General Classification
There are no time bonuses for stage winners. Race results will be based on the overall time of the riders. The rider with the lowest time will win on General Classification.

Stage 1
Saturday 12th March

Men – 10 mile time trial
Women – 10 mile time trial

Riders will start at 30 second intervals. The start numbers will be as per the rider list.

The Course
From the HQ turn right onto A629 then first left on Renald Lane.
Start: Gadding Moor Rd near New Rd junc
Continue onto North Ln toward Lane Head Rd/A635
Turn left onto Lane Head Rd/A635 Continue to follow A635
Slight left onto Barnsley Rd/A635
Head west on Barnsley Rd/A635 toward Cumberworth Ln
Turn left onto Carr Hill Rd
Head west on Carr Hill Rd toward Lane Head Rd/A629
Turn left onto Penistone Rd/A629
Finish: on Halifax Road A629, before junction with Well House Ln. Continue past the finish for around 100 meters to arrive at the HQ.

Stage 2
Saturday 12th March – road race
Men – 50 mile road race (4 laps)
Women – 38.7 mile road race (3 laps)

The Course
Turn right onto A629 Penistone Road to join the course. Take the first left into Renald Lane, onto Gadding Moor Road, then North Lane and left onto Barnsley Road / A635.
The race will start as indicated by the Chief Commissaire on the A635.
Continue on A635 left at junction with A636 and then bear Left onto Carr Hill Road.

The finish line and feed zone is situated on Carr Hill Road before the junction with Penistone Road / A629. The number of laps will be taken after crossing the finish line for the first time.

After the finish line, turn left on Penistone Road / A629, continue on Halifax Road / A629 and past the HQ. Turn left onto Renald Lane, then again on the A635 and follow the lap until reaching the finish line on Carr Hill Road to complete the lap.

To return to the HQ turn left after the finish onto the A629 for around 4 ½ miles.

The Course
