Bill writes … At our Bournemouth store we deal with new riders buying their first road bike through to pro riders but we never thought we would have Grand Tour winning bikes in the shop. When I was a schoolboy racer myself in the 70’s, I always made sure I was home when Dickie Davis was showing a very short coverage of the Tour De France on World Of Sport.
This is what got me addicted to the sport. Now we have an actual Tour de France winning bike by a British rider in store and it’s quite emotional to be honest. We have been given the chance to bring world famous bikes to our customers and we all love it. These bikes are on display until Monday 24th September – Come and have your photo taken!
