Ribble Pro Cycling join the ranks of the British UCI cycling teams in 2019
:: Previous Feature on Ribble Pro Cycling

After the demise of JLT Condor and One Pro at the end of this year’s season, it was looking like the number of UCI Conti teams was going to fall to three or four. For 2019 however, two Elite teams look like going UCI and one of those has confirmed their UCI application has been successful; Ribble Pro Cycling sponsored by Ribble Cycles.

The rider line up below is all but done and dusted with only one name yet to be revealed. A key signing is the talented Scottish rider Mark Stewart who rode for An Post and who’s had success on the track internationally. Add to that mix the likes of Dan Bigham, John Archibald and Jacob Tipper returning from a year of racing internationally, the team will continue to be strong in the British races.

Their race programme is work in progress but chatting to the team boss, they will be looking to mix British racing with UCI events, both here and abroad. On top of that, there is the Tour Series and the many crits that go to make up the British programme as well as time trials for some of the riders.
