With 24 riders turning out tonight we had three groups. Unfortunatley group one were sent off course by a maverick marshall namely the man in black – who was it – no one knows? Anyway, it did not deter the middle group who grafted all throughout the three laps and actually finished 45 seconds before the scratch group where there were lots of dour faces from the big hitters – never mind theres always next week! - Willy Thompson
