Jenson Young winner of the University of Sheffield Road Race on Saturday (May 12)

The race got underway at 11 am and people were being shelled from the second the flag dropped in what has got to be one of the toughest 3/4s on the calendar.
Oliver Cockerill got away after a few laps and was shortly joined by Alexander Hutchinson. The two got a gap that was nearly up to a minute at its peak, however with 3 laps to go the now massively reduced bunch was down to around 20 riders. The bunch reached the finish together and in a quick sprint, it was Jenson Young who took the win.
