HC Result: Aims Cycling Hill Climb

Nick Munro and Nuala Robinson put in impressive performances at the AIMS Cycling hill-climb event near Kildale in North Yorkshire. Munro’s victory in the open category by a slim margin of six seconds shows the competitive nature of the event, especially considering the challenging conditions with damp and greasy roads.

Robinson’s dominance in the female category, winning by a significant 40-second margin, highlights her strength as a cyclist. It’s also noteworthy that youth riders like Ezra Bateman and Annabelle Carter put in commendable performances, indicating a promising future for cycling in their age group.

With Munro gearing up for the @Derwentside CC 40-mile event, it seems like he’s ready to take on longer distances and new challenges. The Lakes and Lancs Sporting Courses Series will likely provide him with tough competition and an opportunity to showcase his skills over a longer distance.

Record numbers attended AIMS Cycling event with numbers up significantly from their Autumn opener, their next event in stunning Yorkshire scenery is 24th August and can be entered on the CTT website.
