Brutal race in the wet n cold. Some of the riders were shaking with near hypothermia when they finished (or had pulled out). Initial breakaway of four whittled down to two of John Archibald and Alex Luhrs, with a small group chasing. Luhrs took it at the line, with the remainder coming in various groups thereafter.
